Why Attend our 2019 International Credential Evaluation Lab?

Do you have the most up-to-date information to determine whether a foreign institution is accredited at the institutional level, program-level, or both? Would you like to expand your understanding of how to convert foreign credit and grades to their Canadian equivalent? Are you looking for additional resources that will help you assess if a foreign academic document is original, official, and authentic? Are you seeking new ideas on how to streamline your admissions process?

Join us in Toronto to hone your understanding of international education systems and refine your knowledge of how to evaluate credentials in order to make the best possible admissions decisions for your campus.

Reasons to attend:

  • Leverage WES expertise: Work with expert credential evaluators that collectively represent nearly 50 years of experience in evaluating academic credentials - their shared knowledge is one of WES’ greatest resource! Our experts will share best practices based on the knowledge bank our organization has developed in performing credential evaluations for more than 40 years.
  • Improve your credential evaluation skills: WES experts will introduce you to the tools and resources WES uses to evaluate more than 200,000 evaluations annually. You will also be guided through hands-on evaluation exercises using real sample credentials.
  • Expand your network and learn from peers: Meet and engage with other admissions professionals who can offer their own experiences and practices for evaluating foreign credentials.
  • Share the knowledge: Participants will take home a comprehensive WES workbook with information about various education systems, grading scales, and accreditation procedures. It includes several sample credentials that will serve as a resource you and your colleagues can use long after the workshop.
