The total number of outbound students from the Netherlands is small, but it is not insignificant in relative terms and has grown steadily in recent years. WES Senior Credential Analyst Viktoria Jenkins will review the secondary and tertiary education systems of the Netherlands, map its degree structure, share its grading scale with WES-recommended equivalencies, and explain its quality assurance and accreditation system. You will also learn how to evaluate Dutch academic documents.

Viktoria has worked as a Credential Analyst at WES for the past three and a half years. She specializes in the analysis and evaluation of credentials from Western European countries; Latin America is her secondary area of expertise. Viktoria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication from the University of Vienna. She is fluent in German, Spanish, English, and Bulgarian.

Makala Skinner is an international higher education researcher specializing in education in emergencies, student support services, and student mobility trends. Prior to WES, she taught English in South Korea and Turkey for two years, and she worked as a college counselor for first-generation university students. Makala earned a master’s degree in international educational development from Teachers College, Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in English from George Washington University.
