Carlos has been evaluating international academic credentials at WES since 2006. He specializes in evaluations from Latin America and has presented his research at various conferences including EAIE and NAFSA. Carlos earned a master's degree in international relations from the City University of New York.

MARA OHORODNIK

Research Associate, WES

Mara is an international education researcher specializing in education for refugees. At WES, she continues to conduct research on this topic as well as on internationalization policies and student mobility. She has been published in the Journal of Studies in International Education, and has presented her research at the Annual Graduate Student Research Conference of the Washington Consortium for Comparative and International Education. Mara holds a master’s degree in international education from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Michigan State University.
