About the webinar:

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) conducts examinations in the five Anglophone countries of West Africa: Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. In this webinar, Aditi Kadakia will review examinations and sample documents from select WAEC member countries and how to assess student performance on the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Aditi Kadakia

Senior Manager of Knowledge Analyst

Aditi came to WES in 2011 after serving as an education Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique for 2 years. She specializes in the analysis and evaluation of credentials from the Indian subcontinent, Caribbean and African commonwealth countries, Australia and New Zealand.

Jing Guan

Advanced Evaluation Specialist

Jing Guan is an advanced evaluation specialist at WES. She has published articles and presented at conferences on topics in international education. Jing earned a master's degree in international education from New York University, and a bachelor's degree in English from Sun Yat-sen University, China.

Alejandro Ortiz

Senior Research Associate

Alejandro is a regular contributor to WES original research reports and World Education News and Reviews (WENR). He recently wrote an article on Academic Mobility in the Middle East and Egypt: If not West, Where Will Students Go? Alejandro earned a master’s degree in public administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico.
