Having a Professional Engineering license can open many doors for immigrant and refugee engineers. Although the licensing process is complex and may take time, the professional rewards can be significant, and you can develop a meaningful career while completing licensing requirements.

In this webinar, our guest presenter from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) describes the stages and requirements for licensing and explains how to use the NCEES credential evaluation. The presentation also includes tips for taking the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam and practical advice on how to work with your state board and NCEES experts to create a plan for your licensing journey.

In addition, a recent refugee engineer shares lessons from building a career leading to licensure and the advantages of participating in job readiness programs.
