About this Webinar:

The WES Gateway Program provides educational credential evaluation to eligible immigrants, refugees, and displaced individuals who do not have access to complete or verifiable academic records. The assessment report helps such individuals enroll in further education, get licensed in their occupation, or obtain commensurate employment.

BEATRICE KOHLENBERG

Senior Manager, WES Gateway Program

Beatrice has extensive experience working towards the successful integration of skilled immigrants into the Canadian labour market. Over the past 10 years, she has led the development and delivery of employment and bridging programs, as well as multi-stakeholder mentoring and capacity-building initiatives. Beatrice holds a master’s degree in communication and culture from Ryerson University. Her international credentials include a master’s degree in communications and public relations and a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering. She is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Laura Flammia

Program Coordinator, WES Gateway Program

Laura has contributed much of her career to the mission of World Education Services, performing in several roles in the organization to support the global mobility and successful integration of skilled immigrants in Canada. In humanitarian spirit, every year, she co-leads a fundraising event for local charity organizations, with a focus on food security. Laura earned an Ontario College diploma in paralegal studies from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. Laura also holds a paralegal licence from the Law Society of Ontario.
