According to the Institute of International Education (IIE), the number of UK students in the US has increased every year since the 2007/08 academic year (a 28% total increase) culminating in 10,743 students in 2014/15. He has worked as a translator and transcriber with Transborder Educators, and spent a year teaching English in France on a British Council mobility program. Daniel has a bachelor’s degree in modern languages from University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He grew up in the north east of England and speaks French and Spanish.
