JOOHYUN SHIN

Advanced Evaluation Specialist, WES

Joohyun specializes in the analysis and evaluation of credentials from countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and has published on the education system of Taiwan. She holds a master’s degree in education from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hunter College of the City University of New York. Joohyun is fluent in Korean.

Christopher Mackie

Senior Research Associate

Chris is an international higher education researcher who has been with WES since 2014. He has experience in credential evaluation, specializing in the analysis and evaluation of academic documents from the Asia-Pacific region, including the Indian subcontinent. Before joining WES, Chris served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan, where he worked as an ESL teacher and community development specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Temple University and is fluent in Arabic.
