As Vietnam experiences some of the most rapid economic growth in the world, college applications from Vietnam have appeared in admissions offices across the U.S. in increasing numbers, with nearly 19,000 Vietnamese students studying in the U.S. during the 2014-2015 year. This webinar will feature an overview of the system of education, institution recognition, grading scales, and degree requirements, as well as demonstrate the WES methodology when authenticating academic credentials from Vietnam.

Francesca Masucci

Advanced Evaluation Specialist

Francesca has been with WES since 2008, holding positions of credential evaluator, manager for the Asia-Pacific region, and now quality assurance manager. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and international affairs from Southern Connecticut State University, and a master's degree in diplomacy and international affairs from Seton Hall University. She has also studied civil society at the Central European University in Budapest.

Alejandro earned a master’s degree in social impact and policy analysis from New York University, and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico. Alejandro specializes in mobility trends, market identification, and enrollment data analytics. He has assisted on several WES consulting reports, presented his research at the NAFSA national conference, and has authored multiple research articles and briefs for WES.
