Internationalization is becoming an increasingly more commercial and elitist endeavor, primarily focused on the flow of international students, scholars, and programs around the world, to the benefit of a small and privileged subset of stakeholders.
The inequity created by this phenomenon calls for a revised, more innovative and inclusive approach to internationalization. To this end, this event intends to create a platform for students, scholars, and practitioners to discuss ways to make this happen.
This event will bring together graduate students, key international higher education scholars, and senior international officers from different parts of the world.
The 2018 WES-CIHE Summer Institute offers exciting opportunities for:
Lead the conversation on inclusive and innovative internationalization by delivering a session at the 3rd annual WES-CIHE Summer Institute.
Students whose papers are selected for presentation will receive:
Master’s and doctoral level students should submit their abstracts and/or papers by March 26th.
This 3-day program will combine presentations, panel discussions, as well as opportunities for group discussion and networking for participants and presenters.
