While India is currently the second-largest source of international students in the U.S.; the Indian enrollment growth rate far outpaces that of China. Between 2013 and 2016, the number of inbound Indian students rose 61%, compared to 19% from China. Our presenters will dive deeper into student mobility trends from India and provide methods to assess Indian credentials, review recent higher education reforms, and highlight key features of the accreditation system.

Aditi Kadakia

Senior Manager of Knowledge Analysts

Aditi came to WES in 2011 after serving as an education Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique for 2 years. She specializes in the analysis and evaluation of credentials from the Indian subcontinent, Caribbean and African commonwealth countries, Australia and New Zealand.

Bryce Loo

Research Associate II

Bryce has published several research reports and articles for WES, most notably on credential assessment for refugees and on career services for international students. He has presented at NAFSA Annual, NAFSA Region X, and the 2016 WES-Boston College Center for International Higher Education Summer Seminar. Bryce earned a master’s degree in international education development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University, Bakersfield.
