About the webinar:

Canada is becoming a major destination for internationally mobile students; it is now the fifth largest recipient of international students globally. This webinar will examine how visa and immigration policies, reasonable tuition rates, and a culture of inclusion converge under a national policy framework to create robust growth in international student enrollment. Paul Schulmann

Research Manager

Paul Schulmann is a research manager at WES, where he overseas and conducts research on international higher education trends and student mobility. He earned a master's degree in public and international affairs from the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in legal studies and philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Cindy Le

Research Associate

Cindy earned a master's degree in international education policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies and economics from Williams College. She is currently conducting research for WES on international student mobility into Canada.

Anna Done Choudhury

Manager of International Student Integration, Algonquin College

Anna is the Manager of International Student Integration at the International Education Centre at Algonquin College, a position she has held since August 2016. Previous to this, Anna worked at Laurier International in Waterloo for over seven years. A graduate of Royal Roads University (MA – International and Intercultural Communications), University of Waterloo (BA) and Conestoga College (Print Journalism), Anna also completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Immigration at Seneca College. Since 2009, Anna has developed and delivered workshops and online courses in international education at Queen’s University in the International Educators Training Program. Anna has lived, worked and studied in a number of different countries, including Cuba, where she held the position of Student Liaison for a program that facilitated Canadian students studying at the National University of the Arts in Havana.
