Over the past five years, Iranian student mobility to the U.S. and Canada has grown by 42 percent and 45 percent, respectively. This webinar will explore the push and pull factors driving Iranian students to North America, the potential impact of the current U.S. administration’s policies on student mobility, and an overview of the Iranian education system.

Maedeh specializes in evaluating international credentials from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait and the U.A.E. Maedeh holds a master's degree in international relations and a bachelor's degree in political science from the City University of New York.

Senior Research Associate, WES

As a Research Associate for World Education Services (WES), Bryce has published several research reports and articles, most notably on credential assessment and higher education access issues for refugees and on career services for international students. He has presented at NAFSA annual and regional conferences, NAGAP, CIES, and the annual WES-Boston College Center for International Higher Education Summer Seminar. Bryce earned a master’s degree in international education development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University, Bakersfield.
